• Research Engineer at Centre de Recherche Public Henri Tudor, Luxembourg
- Specification, development and experiment of IT services supporting cooperation activities in construction projects (Build-IT project, CRTI-weB services).
- Participation to the organization of professional meetings and training sessions about new practices in
AEC, especially based on IT.
- Animation of national working groups (workshops).
- Responsible of the scientific strategy of CRP Tudor’s construction program.
- Setup of research projects proposals (private, national and EU funding).
• Project Manager: Dest2Co (Design of E-Services Transactions for COllaborative COnstruction activities) funded by the FNR (Fonds National de la Recherche), CORE 2008 program. 2009-2010.
• Main research interests:
- Modeling of IT services, orchestration of services in relationship with organizational specificities of construction projects.
- Use of context in the development of services and visualization modes for groupware. Representation of trust to assist coordination of construction projects.
- Visualization modes and Human-Computer Interaction in groupware services: modelling and evaluation.
- Change management, especially linked to the impact of Information Technology on professional working practices. Design of specific validation techniques for the evaluation of construction-dedicated IT services designed.
- Interest in 4D CAD simulation: 1) its capability to inform designers of constructability issues in early design stages and 2) 4D CAD as coordination-support of building construction.
